Clean eating

A good nutritional program should be centered around eating real food. Fad diets, crash diets, and miracle pills are not part of a balanced, sustainable path towards improved health and fitness. You don't have to count calories and you wont find any built in points or penalties either. No arbitrary systems that disconnect the food choices you make from their actual physical consequences. You just eat good clean food, put your meals together in a way that is simple, balanced, and (most importantly) sustainable, and experience all of the real tangible benefits that come from a nutritional plan designed to optimize your metabolism, reduce systematic inflammation, and have you looking, feeling, and performing your best.
So what do you eat?

We eat real food - fresh, natural food like meat, vegetables, and fruit. We choose foods that are nutrient dense, with lots of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, over foods that have more calories but less nutrition. And food quality is important - we're careful about where our meat, seafood, and eggs come from, and buy organic local produce as often as possible.
This is not a "diet" - its more of an eating style. We eat as much as we need to maintain strength, energy, activity levels and a healthy body weight. We aim for well-ballanced nutrition, so we eat both animals and a significant amount of plants. Were not lacking carbohydrates - we just get them from vegetables and fruits instead of bread, cereal, or pasta.
Eating like this is ideal for maintaining a healthy metabolism and reducing inflammation within the body. It's good for body composition, energy levels, sleep quality, mental attitude, and quality of life. It helps eliminate sugar cravings and reestablishes a healthy relationship with food. Your First 30 Days

The very first Warrior class that you attend is Nutrition. In it we spend 90 minutes teaching you a comprehensive nutrition plan designed to shed body fat, increase muscle growth, reduce systematic inflammation, and fuel your workouts. We explain which foods are good for you and which are not. For the first 30 Days of Warrior Fitness we encourage you to only eat the good foods. This will let your body heal and push the reset button with your metabolism and systematic inflammation. Your only nutritional job for those first 30 days is to make good food choices. No calorie counting, no point system, no stepping on the scale, just stick to the good food plan for 30 days. No cheats, no slip ups, no special occasion eating.
